Gary Thompson Agency, Inc., (GTA) a full-service independent insurance agency, announced effective March 1, 2018, it has acquired Nsure Agency, Inc. an independent insurance agency with locations in Lincoln, NE and Waverly, NE.
Nsure Agency was owned and operated by John Svehla since 2000. John strived to service Nsure Agency customers in a selfless and generous way. With John’s recent passing, his son, Trent Svehla will be carrying on his father’s legacy working as a licensed insurance agent for GTA. Trent will be operating out of both the GTA Lincoln and Waverly locations and working alongside John Thompson of Gary Thompson Agency’s Lincoln location.
Other Nsure Agency staff will join the Gary Thompson Agency, including Cara Ramsay who will remain based in the Waverly office located inside the Horizon Bank (South branch). In addition, Leigh-Ann Ochsner will also continue to assist through the transition as the two agencies merge.

With this recent acquisition, GTA has grown to 18 locations across Nebraska.
